Privacy Policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
The short version: we collect the information you give us so a licensed agent can help you with life insurance. We never sell your personal information, and we never share your mobile number or text-message opt-in with anyone for their marketing.
This Privacy Policy explains how Desmos Life Insurance Agency, a trade name of Allen Davis Enterprises LLC ("Desmos Life," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit desmoslife.com, request a quote, or communicate with us by phone, text message or email.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, state, the type of coverage you're interested in, and anything else you share with us when you request a quote, talk with an agent or apply for coverage. To prepare an application, an agent may also ask for details such as your date of birth, health history and beneficiary information.
- Consent records: if you agree to receive calls and text messages, we keep a record of that consent, including the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the IP address it came from.
- Communications: the content of texts, emails and calls between you and our team.
- Technical information: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure and working. We don't use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and contact you about life insurance options, including by phone, text message and email when you've agreed to it.
- To schedule and remind you of appointments with an agent.
- To prepare and submit insurance applications you ask us to submit, and to service your policy afterward.
- To comply with legal and regulatory requirements and to keep records of your consent and communication preferences.
- To protect our website and customers from fraud and abuse.
We use secure software tools, including AI-assisted messaging, to help our licensed agents respond to you quickly. These providers process your information only to provide services to us.
3. Text messaging and mobile information
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, or your text-message opt-in data and consent, with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our messaging platform) that help us deliver the messages you asked for.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms for full details.
4. When we share information
We never sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With insurance carriers when you ask us to quote or apply for a policy with them, so they can underwrite and issue it.
- With service providers that help us run our business (for example website hosting, our secure customer-management software, email, phone and text-message delivery), who may use it only to provide those services to us.
- When required by law, such as to respond to a subpoena or a request from an insurance regulator, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
As noted above, mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared for marketing purposes.
5. How we protect your information
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to authorized team members, and encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as needed to help you and to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements that apply to insurance agencies. Opt-out requests are kept so we continue to honor them.
7. Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop texts.
- Calls and email: tell any agent, or email us, and we'll stop contacting you.
- Access, correction or deletion: email us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it where the law allows. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them.
8. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
